Singer-songwriter Kevin Conaway joins me for our annual marathon discussion in which we go track by track through our respective 2024 Mix Albums. “Mix Albums,” is a term Kevin coined to represent the attempt to create a cohesive listening experience more akin to playing an LP by your favorite act than a disparate compilation of unrelated artists.

The previous two years of this track-by-track conversation were published on my YouTube channel; and given the long duration of this talk, I decided to revive the dormant Dreaming Out Loud podcast feed so anyone interested could listen along without exhausting the battery of whatever device they’re using by having to have the screen active.

For the YouTube version, I put in chapter markers for the different tracks, which you can jump to if you’re curious about the context of a particular song.
